The LR Connections group is looking for someone to become a new member of our expanding LR Accounting team to help support our current team of accountants in their responsibilities and duties. A basic knowledge of UK tax is desirable, but not essential, and experience with online software packages such as Xero and QuickBooks is a bonus. Reviewing and posting purchase invoices and payments
Reviewing and allocating cash receipts
Performing bank and cash reconciliations
Setting up online banking payments
General daily accounting tasks to support the LR Accounting team
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
A keen eye for attention to detail
The ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records
Good computer literacy including the accounting software packages
Good word processing skills
A genuine interest in business and finance, and a desire to lean more
Good administrative skills and timekeeping
Maths & English to GCSE Grade C/5 or revised equivalent
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot errors
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
Organised and methodical approach to working
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
